The manufacturing of denim has historically been a water guzzling operation. But thanks to an innovative dyeing process, our partners in Turkey have reduced water use in their denim production by an astounding 95%. More than 140,000 tons of water are saved each year, a feat that has earnt the company certification from The Carbon Trust. Swathes of their organic denim are used in every pair of our shorts. We hope you’ll put the Hykerbiker through its paces on the trail. Because this pair of shorts is too good to only be worn around the firepit.
Weight: 515g (medium). Colour: any – so long as it’s black.
Fun fact: Our original design called for a second layer of fabric on the backside to reinforce the Hykerbiker. However, in testing, the canvas proved so durable that this additional strip of fabric became redundant. Less fabric means a reduced weight, a lower price and a smaller environmental impact. So SueMe.

Materials
Underwear: Tencel Modal with 5% Lycra (210gsm). Stitching: combination of flat and offset for comfort and longevity. SueMe logo: knitted in a contrasting colour into the waistband.
Tee shirts: 70% bamboo, 30% organic cotton (155gsm). Inks contain no phthalates, drying agents, solvents or PVC.
Crew Sweat: 100% combed and brushed organic cotton (235gsm).
Echoic Jacket: Body: Malden Mills’ Polartec 300 fleece, recycled from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles (USA). Shoulders & yoke: Mallalieus of Delph 3840 tweed (England). Sleeves: Millerain waxed cotton (England). Sleeve liners: Lyocell from eucalyptus tree pulp (Belgium). Trim: knitted tubular (Spain). Tape: laser-cut and reflective (France).
Hykerbiker Short: Fabric: 350gsm organic cotton Panama canvas. Waist is secured with a metal button. Zippered fly. 30cm inseam (medium).
Original BUFF®: Fabric: 100% fast-drying polyester.

Underwear: Hand or machine at 30°C (care instructions printed directly onto fabric using water-based inks).
Tee shirts: Hand or machine at 40°C (care instructions are printed directly onto the fabric using water-based inks).
Original BUFF®: Hand or machine in cool water (avoid using fabric conditioner to preserve fabric’s wicking characteristics).
